Seasons, by Asmodee Games, was a huge hit of 2012.  Well Asmodee has announced the first expansion – Enchanted Kingdoms.

The Libellud team is hard at work on Enchanted Kingdom, the first expansion for Seasons, the card game of wild combinations from  Regis Bonnessée. We just couldn’t resist showing off the first three pieces of art.

For now, we don’t know much. These mysterious cards were sent with a question from the editor – “What do you think these cards do?”

For now, we know that Enchanted Kingdom is scheduled for GenCon 2013, if everything goes according to plan. You’ll get 20 new Power cards (in duplicate), 10 Enchantment cards, 12 chips with special abilities that go into the empty circle on each player’s board, additional pieces to be played as additional energy, and two card errata found in the new edition of Seasons (these last two are available for download from the Libellud website).
